Government has announced a dedicated Startup India Desk a national helpline to assist entrepreneurs dealing with regulatory challenges or government-related hurdles. The multilingual helpline offers policy feedback, complaint redressal, and aligns with a Rs. 10,000 crore Fund of Funds for Startups for early-stage, deep-tech startups including AI, robotics, quantum computing, machine learning, precision manufacturing and biotech. Through this helpline, a startup can also suggest steps to further improve the ecosystem and flag problems, if they are facing any. The Startup India Desk will be run by the commerce ministry and accessible through a user-friendly 4-digit toll-free number, with multilingual support to ensure wider reach.
