Following were the regulatory updates from the Ministry during the previous month-
i. Establishment of Central Processing Centre
The Central Processing Centre shall process and dispose off e-forms filed along with the fee as provided in the Companies (Registration of Offices and Fees) Rules, 2014.
The jurisdictional Registrar, other than Registrar of the Central Processing Centre, within whose jurisdiction the registered office of the company is situated shall continue to have jurisdiction over the companies whose e-forms are processed by the Registrar of the Central Processing Centre in respect of all other provisions of the Companies Act, 2013 and the rules made thereunder.

MCA further notified the Companies (Registration Offices and Fees) Amendment Rules, 2024 provisioning for examination of application/eForm by Registrar, CPC and decision taking within 30 days from the date of filing. The Registrar of the Central Processing enter shall exercise jurisdiction all over India in respect of the examination of specified application, e-Forms or documents.

ii. Relaxation for LLPs to file LLP BEN-2 and Form no. 4D
For smooth transition from version 2 to version 3 of MCA21 and to promote compliance for Limited Liability Partnerships, relaxation has been granted for filing of LLP BEN-2 and Form 4D upto 15.05.2024. These forms will be available for filing in version 3 from 15.04.2024.
