MCA notified LLP (Second Amendment) Rules, 2022
The Limited Liability Partnership (Second Amendment) Rules, 2022 has been notified by the MCA. Important highlights of the amended rules include easing the procedure of appointing more than two Designated Partners (not having DPIN/ DIN) subject to a maximum of 5 Designated Partners at the time of incorporation, web-based e-Form for incorporation of LLP like SPICe+, mandatorily mention of Latitude and Longitude in the Address Block at the time of incorporation, allotment of PAN & TAN along with Certificate of Incorporation, signing of Statement of Solvency by Interim Resolution Professional in case LLP is under Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process, Form 8 (Statement of Solvency and Annual Return) will specifically include Contingent Liability reporting, among others.
