Ministry of Corporate Affairs clarification on passing of Ordinary and Special Resolutions by the companies
In continuation to the previously issued circulars by the Ministry of Commerce Affairs (MCA) regarding the omission of restriction from Rule 4, relaxations have been extend till 30th June, 2022 to allow companies to conduct their Extraordinary General Meetings (EGMs) through Video Conference (VC) or Other Audio Visual Means (OAVM) or transact items through postal ballot in accordance with the framework provided in the aforesaid Circulars.
