The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi launched Indian Space Association (ISpA) which intends to make India leader in space technologies. He emphasised on the four pillars forming base for reforms - First, the freedom of innovation to the private sector. Second, the role of the government as an enabler. Third, preparing youth for the future. And fourth, to see the space sector as a resource for the progress of the common man. Government is keen to bring private sector in development of space technologies and has been taking appropriate measures to make it practically possible considering the limitless opportunities.
