Ministry of Corporate Affairs has recently amended the definition of Listed Companies and excluded certain class of companies from being counted as Listed Company due to listing of certain securities. Before this amendment, these companies were required to comply with all applicable compliance related to a Listed entity. This step should be seen in the direction of ease of doing business commitment of Government.
