SEBI has always been on front for protection of Shareholders rights and in furtherance of its objective, a proposal was recently published by the SEBI for public suggestions. The proposal specially emphasise of shareholder supremacy in selection of directors because board committees constituted with board members may be affected with undue influence of the board.
