The circulars from Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) in April 2020 has allowed companies to pass ordinary and special resolutions by holding extraordinary general meetings through video conferencing or other audio visual means or passing of certain items only through postal ballots without convening general meetings upto 30th June, 2020. This period has now been extended till 30th September by MCA through another circular dated 15/6/2020.
