MCA Circular on dispatch of notice under section 62(2) of the Companies Act, 2013 by listed companies for right issue opening upto 31st July, 2020
As per section 62 of the Companies Act, 2013, notice has to be sent by courier or postal services by listed companies going for the right issue. Now, in view of the present pandemic, it has been clarified by MCA that in case of rights issue opening upto 31st July, 2020, non-compliance of sending notices as mentioned above will not be considered as a violation of the said provisions.
