Zuari Agro Chemical under MCA Lens over Corporate Governance Violations | Mar 4, 2020
MCA’s Western Regional Office ordered an inspection of the Zuari Agro Chemical Ltd. under Section 206 of the Companies Act, 2013. Section 206 of the said Act deals with the power of the Registrar of Companies (ROC) to call for information, inspect books, and conduct inquiries. In this case, the ROC has found some instances of corporate governance violations in its preliminary probe. It wanted to investigate these issues further.
