Holding of Annual General Meeting (AGM) by Companies whose Financial Year has ended on 31st December, 2019
The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of a company except the first AGM has to be held within six months from the closure of the financial year. However, keeping in view of the present difficult situation, it has been clarified by MCA that in case of those companies whose financial year has ended on 31st December, 2019, subsequent AGM can be held within 9 months from the end of the financial year i.e., by 30th September, 2020.
