MCA Invite for Public Comments on the Companies (Corporate Social Responsibility Policy) Amendment Rules, 2020
The Ministry of Corporate Affairs has looked for expanded inclusion of the top managerial staff of organizations in the observing of corporate social duty extends through proposed corrections in CSR Rules.
Key proposed changes are as follows:
- Increased Monitoring of CSR Projects
- Utilization of funds Generated Through CSR
- CSR Expenditure
- Activities that shall not come within the purview of CSR
- Amending the definition of CSR Policy
- CSR Implementation
- Impact assessment for CSR projects or programmes
- Display of CSR activities on website
- Insertion of National Unspent Corporate Social Responsibility Fund
