The roll-out of the Inaugural Newsletter of Independent Director’s Databank is a turning point in the history of the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA).

The newsletter will provide valuable updates/newsfeed on corporate laws, insights from Independent Directors, the progress of registration and enrolment on Independent Director’s Databank and related upcoming events/conferences. The newsfeed would help Independent Directors in enhancing their capabilities, by keeping them abreast of therecent developments in the regulatory and corporate landscape.

The Independent Director’s Databank is an initiative of the IICA with an object to build better Boards with a strong institution of Independent Directors. The databank has been developed in away to provide an easy to access & navigation platform for the registration and enrolment by existing Independent Directors as well as individuals aspiring to become Independent Directors.

I am confident that the initiative will help the Independent Directors in becoming Agents of Change in corporate boards.
